Gimcheon Sangmu drew against Gyeongnam FC, raising red flags in the K League 2 title race.
According to the Gimcheon Sangmu Professional Football Club on the 12th, they drew 1-1 away from home against 38R Gyeongnam FC in the ‘Hana OneQ K League 2 2023’ at the Changwon Football Center.
With one game left in the regular season, Gimcheon will decide whether to win the K League 2 title depending on Busan’s win or loss.
Gimcheon faced Gyeongnam in a 4-3-3 formation.
Lee Jun-seok, Lee Young-joon, and Choi Byung-chan were the first line, while Kim Jin-gyu, Kang Hyun-mook, and Won Doo-jae made up the second line.
The backline consisted of Park Min-gyu, Kim Jae-woo, Lee Sang-min, and Lee Yu-hyun, and Shin Song-hoon was in goal.

After receiving a pass from Kim Jin-gyu, Lee Young-joon stabbed the ball into the corner of Gyeongnam’s goal for a 1-0 lead.
However, Park Min-seo scored the equalizer to make it 1-1.
In the second half, both teams continued to take shots at each other’s goal, but the game ended with no further goals.
After the game, head coach Jung Jung-yong said, “I’m disappointed with the result, but I’m grateful to the players who tried their best until the end, the fans who supported us, and the club who worked hard to become one. We still have one game left. We will prepare well until the end and finish well.”
